Physiotherapy

Our experienced physiotherapist can assist with mobility assessment, gross motor issues, pain management, and energy conservation techniques. Home exercise programs to increase health and fitness are also available and can be tailored to suit your goals and abilities.

 

Our Physiotherapy services may include:

  • Exercise programs to improve mobility and strengthen muscles

  • Joint manipulation and mobilisation to reduce pain and stiffness

  • Muscle re-education to improve control

  • Airway clearance techniques and breathing exercises

  • Soft tissue mobilisation (massage)

  • Hydrotherapy

  • Advice and assistance with use of mobility aids, such as walking sticks and wheelchairs

Support Work

My Therapy Service is equipped with highly skilled Support workers to help people with everyday tasks and to assist them in living as independently as possible. These tasks may include:

  • High Intensity Support

  • Supporting mobility and transfers

  • Safety in home and community

  • Self-care activities and establishing a routine

  • Attending social and recreational events in the community

  • Transport and assistance to and from work / appointments

  • Reinforcing lessons learned during therapy sessions and putting them into practice

  • Meal Planning and meal preparation

  • Daily exercise and pursuing hobbies (Art or Music)

NDIS Assessment & Application

NDIS experts - support from pre to post planning. Our National Disability Insurance Scheme specialists understand the complexity of the NDIS. We have an expert team to assist with functional assessments, collating evidence to support applications, and management plans. We are here to make sure you receive the services you need, hassle-free. 

 

Counselling Service

My Therapy Service is committed to helping you live your BEST life! Our dedicated counsellor provides personalised support to help you manage your daily stress / mental health and enable you to participate meaningfully in activities.

Support Coordination

Knowing how to use a NDIS Plan can be very confusing. Our Support Coordinator assists our participants to implement the funding they have received to get the most appropriate services to achieve their goals. Our support coordinator have a vast network of quality providers to connect you for every type of funding category in the NDIS Plan. We can also assist in lodging early reviews where appropriate to receive the funding that is needed for our participants.
